HOLLY GRAY

I am Holly Gray, a current manager for Mill Residence and Lingwell Rise. I previously worked as a waking night support work for Amethyst, I enjoyed this role however it was a challenge but very rewarding. I really enjoy my role as a team leader, it is a challenge, but Amethyst is a great company to work for and are very supportive.

I am a criminology graduate from Leeds Beckett University, I would love to work in the criminal justice system in the future as I have a real passion for understanding crimes and why people and society can impact the rate of offending.

I have worked a variety of jobs including cleaning, barmaid, teaching assistance but my current role is by far my favorite. I enjoy working with people, it is a highly rewarding sector but also comes with its challenges and obstacles and each day is different from the next!

Hi my name is Brendan and I am one of the team leaders at Mill Residence and Lingwell Rise

I have worked for Amethyst Care Services since November 2024. since starting my career, I have worked in and out of various sub-sectors within care such as residential care, secure units, day services and education within SILC schools as a teaching assistant and a cover supervisor working with adults and children. Most recently I worked within drug and alcohol services as a specialist detox practitioner primarily surrounding alcohol misuse but I decided to return to residential support services as I am passionate about empowering people to live a life free from barriers.

I am excited to work for Amethyst Care and Support Group as their values align closely with my own. I feel I can bring some of my personal attributes to this role, leading to the best possible support we can offer.

Holly then ventured on to explore other opportunities, only to discover that her true passion lay in support work.Upon returning to AmethystCSG as a Team Leader, Holly embraced her responsibilities with unwavering commitment and enthusiasm. Very responsive. A resident at Mill Residence, who I am currently supporting, has been in and out of hospital regularly. Staff at Mill Residence have been quick to provide any updates on what is happening for this resident, and happy to accept my updates and discuss any future planning. This has enabled my service to support the resident with a more joined-up approach From my dealings with the service, the quality is always high, with an approach that seems very person-centred .All staff have been very easy to work him – friendly, professional and obviously care for the people they support.
