SHARON FARRAR-SMITH
Beech House
Sharon was born in Headingley, Leeds and attended local schools before entering the nursing profession. At 23, she managed a residential care home while completing an NVQ 3 and a training development program, which enabled her to train numerous NVQ candidates. She obtained an advanced management diploma in nursing, then transitioned to become a nail technician after marrying her husband Richard. The couple has three children.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sharon returned to the caring profession and provided end-of-life domiciliary care. In November 2023, seeking a more challenging role, she joined Amethyst CSG as a team leader at Arch House and later at Beech House. She values her role in helping tenants live more independently and appreciates the company's forward-thinking values and missions.

TRACEY DOBINSON-TINSLEY
Beech House
Hi my name is Tracey and I am a Team Leader at Beech House, part of Amethyst.
Starting as a Support Worker my dedication and skills quickly led me to promotion. With over 5 years of experience of working in the care sector, I have gained a rich background of working with adults with mental health conditions/learning difficulties.
Before transitioning into the care sector, I began my career working in office environments. Ater being made redundant, I decided to pursue a more fulfilling career path. I attended college and completed a course in adult social care, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This experience ignited my passion for supporting vulnerable adults which led me to my first role as a support worker.
My commitment to care was further fueled by my own experience of caring for my mother with Alzheimer's. This deeply personal journey inspired me to give back and make a difference in the lives of others. I am deeply dedicated to supporting others with additional needs and thrive in hands-on roles.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dogs. I love exploring new places and dining out, always looking for new experiences and adventures.
