Starting as a Support Worker, and then promoted to a Team Leader at Austhorpe Road, Stacey has advanced her expertise by undertaking management training. Currently, she serves as the Manager for both Beech House and Austhorpe Road Service at Amethyst CSG, where she leverages her extensive knowledge and leadership skills to support and inspire her team. With her warm demeanour and wealth of experience, Stacey continues to make a profound impact on the lives of those she serves.

I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector for 4 years, my journey began in 2020. During my time at university I had a change of heart and resigned from my role from working in a contact center and obtained a part time role as a care assistant whereby I was supporting individuals in the community. I worked with a wide range of needs, my interest grew in the mental health field. This is when my journey began at Amethyst since joining I have gained amazing management team, and other professionals. I hope to grow further and continue doing what I enjoy the most.

My name is Benjamin Kwame , a compassionate Team leader at Amethyst CSG
With unique experience and indebt knowledge in education and health care, Benjamin is a core member of the AmethystCSG team. Serving as a Team leader for Austhorpe Road, he has been an inspiring support worker prior to his new role.
I graduated from Valley View University and spent seven years as a teacher helping young adults to identify, develop and reach their potentials no matter their life circumstances. This immeasurable passion coupled with his experience in a well structured environment aimed at empowering, supporting and motivating individuals to achieve their goals with integrity has manifested eminently in his role at Amethyst.
As a Team Leader, Benjamin's responsibilities include; overseeing day-to-day activities, coordinating staff, and ensuring that the highest quality of care is provided.
Away from work, Benjamin loves to explore nature while spending time with love ones and attending educational sessions with young people. He is boastful of being part of the loving AmethystCSG family and looking forward to continued growth and development within the organization.

At Amethyst CSG, we're committed to the Mental Health of both our tenants and staff members. We believe that a supportive and nurturing environment contributes to overall well-being and allows us to provide the best care possible.

Our dedicated team at Austhorpe Road, one of Amethyst's services, organized a special gathering for tenants and staff to come together and discuss Mental Health. During this event, they shared valuable tips on managing one's mental well-being and fostered a sense of togetherness and support.

Throughout her life, she's encountered numerous hurdles, from Mental Health struggles to difficult relationships. Yet, her determination remains unwavering as she navigates the tides of adversity.

From attending college and working part-time jobs to receiving support from CAMHS and facing hospital admissions, this courageous woman's journey reminds us that strength comes in many forms.

Despite her Mental Health difficulties, she recently completed a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle, proving that her spirit refuses to be dampened by the obstacles in her path.

🌟 An Inspiring Story of Compassion & Community Support at Amethyst CSG 🌟

Today, we want to share with you a heartwarming story of selflessness, compassion, and dedication from Austhorpe Road Service, one of our exemplary services at Amethyst Care and Support Group Ltd. This story revolves around DM, an extraordinary Service User who has touched the lives of many and truly embodies the spirit of kindness and empathy.

DM, a familiar face at our Austhorpe Road Service, has already captured our hearts with his previous initiative of using his income to buy bin bags and trash pickers for community service. However, his acts of kindness don't stop there!

As DM walks the streets of Leeds every day, he comes across a homeless man who, due to life's unpredictability, found himself in dire circumstances. Moved by his situation and those of many others facing similar challenges, DM took it upon himself to make a difference. Channelling his inner Mother Teresa, he embraced the notion that "if you can't feed a thousand, just feed one."

Each day, DM prepares and delivers hot drinks and warm meals to over 20 homeless individuals, who eagerly await his arrival. The anticipation on their faces as they see their friend approaching is a testament to the impact of his genuine care and concern.

At Amethyst CSG, we are incredibly proud to support DM in his compassionate mission by contributing £20 every month. We also provide staff to accompany him when he goes out to feed the homeless, ensuring that our team is there to support him in his selfless acts. However, we believe that more can be done, and we're reaching out to you, our amazing community, for additional support.

It's the weekend, and what better time to recharge and rejuvenate our mental well-being?

Holly's journey began as a night support worker while pursuing her studies at university. Her dedication to her role and her eagerness to make a positive impact in the lives of those she supported quickly became evident. Holly then ventured on to explore other opportunities, only to discover that her true passion lay in support work.

Upon returning to AmethystCSG as a Team Leader, Holly embraced her responsibilities with unwavering commitment and enthusiasm. Her remarkable performance did not go unnoticed, and soon she was presented with the opportunity to step into the role of Service Manager.

With her determination and hard work, Holly successfully secured the position, even while still in her probationary period.

As a Service Manager, Holly's dedication and passion are evident not only to her team leaders but also to her support staff and the tenants she serves.

The residents have expressed their happiness with Holly at the helm, acknowledging her approachability, empathy, and willingness to listen and provide support.

Holly's Support Workers hold her in high regard, praising her as fair, supportive, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Her ability to handle the pressures and responsibilities that come with her role is truly commendable, and she does so with a grace that belies her young age.
