All staff from Support Staff to Management have been fantastic in the support they have given me; nothing seems to be too much to ask.

I feel that everything I have been taught and shown has been thorough and with precision and feel that I can achieve what is expected of me with great results.

My name is Janet Victor, and I’m proud to be the Team Leader at Springfield Court, part of the AmethystCSG. I bring with me a strong background in healthcare administration and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centered care.

Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in areas such as patient care coordination, care planning, healthcare documentation, and regulatory compliance. I’m skilled at working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure the best possible outcomes and a supportive, respectful environment for all.

I’m highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in leading teams to provide consistent, compassionate care. I also have a strong foundation in Microsoft 365 and enjoy finding ways to optimise workflows and improve service delivery.

I’m dedicated to ongoing professional growth and staying up to date with the ever-evolving healthcare landscape. I’m excited to take on this new role and continue making a positive difference in the lives of those we support.

Arm Forces Remembrance Day

As we reflect on the recent Arm Forces Remembrance Day, we're reminded of the sacrifices made by many and the impact these events have on the lives of those who served and their loved ones.

Meet JP, one of our tenants who has a personal connection to this day. JP was once a member of the army, stationed in Germany. Last Sunday, he took the time to visit all the War Memorials in Morley to pay his respects. It's heartwarming to see the care and dedication of individuals like JP.

At Amethyst, we understand that events like Arm Forces Remembrance Day can bring back memories, emotions, and may even impact the mental health of those who have served in the armed forces or have personal connections to it.

As we remember the past, let's also support the present by being there for those who may need help and reminding them that their experiences, emotions, and struggles are valid. Let's create an environment of care, understanding, and empathy that nurtures mental well-being.

Our incredible tenant JP from Springfield Court, part of the Amethyst CSG family, had the unforgettable experience of cheering on his beloved Leeds United at Elland Road this past weekend. Thanks to the unwavering dedication and thoughtfulness of support worker Joanne, JP was able to secure tickets for the highly sought-after home game against Derby County.

Though JP may face challenges with verbal communication due to his diagnosis, his passion for Leeds United shone through as he proudly sang the team's anthem alongside fellow fans, remembering every word.

The love for his team remains strong, demonstrating the power of sports and the joy it brings to our lives.

The day was made even more special as Leeds United claimed a fantastic 2-0 victory over Derby County. It seems JP just might be their new lucky charm!
