I’m Lucy the Service Manager at Phoenix House in Rotherham. I started working for Amethyst CSG in May 2023 and I was a team leader. In December I as promoted to the Service Manager.

I have worked in care supporting vulnerable adults with autism and learning disabilities for over 13 years, but this is my first time working in a mental health supported living service. I am passionate with what I do and strive to provide the highest standard of care possible.

I am proud of what my team and I have achieved in the short time that Phoenix House has been opened. The tenants are the core of everything we do, and we strive to support them to become more independent and have a fulfilled life. I love my job and working for Amethyst, and it was the best decision I ever made!

Meet Kim, a Dedicated Team Leader at Phoenix House
Kim is an integral part of the Phoenix House team at AmethystCSG, based in Rotherham. She began her journey with the organization in August 2023 as a support worker and quickly progressed to a Team Leader role in February 2024, demonstrating her commitment and dedication to her work.
Prior to joining Phoenix House, Kim gained valuable experience as a support worker for vulnerable adults with autism and learning disabilities. This background has provided her with a strong foundation to excel in her role at AmethystCSG.
At Phoenix House, Kim works alongside an outstanding service manager and a remarkable team. Her passion for providing excellent care and support to residents is evident in her day-to-day interactions.

Support within your own home

Amethyst Care & Support work in partnership with Rotherham City Council, who commission the services we provide within the Rotherham area. Anyone requiring specialist Supported Living and who reside within the Rotherham area, would need to discuss this with their Social Worker in the first instance, who will undertake an initial assessment; If the Social Worker feels there is eligibility for Supported Living, a referral to the Commissioning Brokerage Team will be submitted. If the referral is approved, they will then contact Amethyst directly with the relevant information. Once all information is received by Amethyst CSG and if a vacancy is identified, a member of the Amethyst team would make contact so that further information can be obtained to check suitability.
