I’m Lucy the Service Manager at Phoenix House in Rotherham. I started working for Amethyst CSG in May 2023 and I was a team leader. In December I as promoted to the Service Manager.

I have worked in care supporting vulnerable adults with autism and learning disabilities for over 13 years, but this is my first time working in a mental health supported living service. I am passionate with what I do and strive to provide the highest standard of care possible.

I am proud of what my team and I have achieved in the short time that Phoenix House has been opened. The tenants are the core of everything we do, and we strive to support them to become more independent and have a fulfilled life. I love my job and working for Amethyst, and it was the best decision I ever made!

My Amethyst CSG journey began in May 2023 as a support worker while completing my master's degree. Throughout this time, I discovered a profound love for empowering individuals in their daily lives, promoting independence and self-reliance.
Amethyst's unwavering support and training have significantly contributed to my growth and prepared me for the next step in my career. In January 2025, I was honored with a promotion to Team Leader, a role I'm thrilled to embrace.
I'm eager to collaborate with a team that shares my dedication to delivering exceptional care and positively impacting our community. Together, we'll continue making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

At AmethystCSG, we believe in empowering our tenants and encouraging their active participation in their care. Recently, our lovely tenants, AA and MN, had the opportunity to help set up the new communal room at Phoenix House, and the results were nothing short of fantastic!
Thanks to the support and encouragement of their dedicated staff, AA and MN were able to share their opinions and assist in arranging the furniture, creating a welcoming space that truly reflects the spirit of their home. This heartwarming story reminds us of the importance of involving our tenants in the decisions that affect their lives and fostering a sense of ownership and pride in their surroundings.
