HOLLY GRAY

I am Holly Gray, a current team leader for Mill Residence and Lingwell Rise. I previously worked as a waking night support work for Amethyst, I enjoyed this role however it was a challenge but very rewarding. I really enjoy my role as a team leader, it is a challenge, but Amethyst is a great company to work for and are very supportive.

 

I am a criminology graduate from Leeds Beckett University, I would love to work in the criminal justice system in the future as I have a real passion for understanding crimes and why people and society can impact the rate of offending.

 

I have worked a variety of jobs including cleaning, barmaid, teaching assistance but my current role is by far my favorite. I enjoy working with people, it is a highly rewarding sector but also comes with its challenges and obstacles and each day is different from the next!

I Have worked at Amethyst Care Services since August 2024. Since starting my career, I have worked in and out of various sub-sectors within care such as mental health hospitals, forensic and acute units, supported living as a support worker

 

I am passionate about empowering and supporting people live a life free from barriers also supporting people get settled back in communities achieving there desired goals

 

 

I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and is committed to delivering exceptional care and support. I am excited to work for Amethyst care and Support Group as their values align closely with my own. I Feel I can bring some of my personal experience and attributes to this role, leading to the best possible support we can offer

CYNTHIA IRENE

I am Cynthia Irene, a team leader for Mill Residence and Lingwell Rise. I started my Amethyst journey as a support worker since January 2024. Expectedly, it’s been quite challenging but has also given me an opportunity to impact lives.

 

Prior to working at Amethyst, I gained a substantial experience from other health and social care companies, especially Dementia special homes, Mental health hospitals, and supporting people with learning difficulties.

 

I am highly dedicated to delivering significant hands-on experience in person-centred support for individuals in our services. I have developed an intrinsic understanding of the sector's needs and challenges.

 

I enjoy working with people as I derive satisfaction in seeing them have a fulfilled day.

 

I am happy to work amongst a dedicated team of professionals, with an utmost goal of making life better for the people we support, making a difference and going home each day, feeling fulfilled.

 

Working with Amethyst Care and Support is worthwhile.
