I am Holly Gray, a current Service Manager for Mill Residence and Lingwell Rise. I previously worked as a waking night Support Worker for Amethyst, I enjoyed this role however it was a challenge but very rewarding. I enjoyed my role as a Team Leader, it was a challenge, but Amethyst is a great company to work for and is very supportive.

I am a criminology graduate from Leeds Beckett University, I would love to work in the Criminal Justice System in the future as I have a real passion for understanding crimes and why people and society can impact the rate of offending.

I have worked a variety of jobs including Cleaner, Barmaid, and Teaching Assistant but my current role is by far my favorite. I enjoy working with people, it is a highly rewarding sector but also comes with its challenges and obstacles and each day is different from the next!

I have been working for Amethyst CSG since 20th May 2024 and I have really enjoyed learning on the different aspects of the system, i.e., Birdie, Care planner and PeopleHR.

All staff from Support Staff to Management have been fantastic in the support they have given me; nothing seems to be too much to ask.

I feel that everything I have been taught and shown has been thorough and with precision and feel that I can achieve what is expected of me with great results.

I have worked for Amethyst for nearly three years, I started as a support worker working at Springfield court which was Amethyst first service. I have worked at most of the services within Amethyst and have enjoyed meeting everyone as every service is that bit different and everyone has different needs. I became team leader in October 23 for Mill Residence and Lingwell Rise. I work with 3 other team leaders and service manager at these services who are all brilliant and we all work as a team to support the tenants to live independently.

My background in mental health and health and social care studies, along with valuable practice placements, has prepared me well for this fulfilling role. I am honored to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals and engage with the remarkable tenants who inspire me daily.
