A Day by the River:
Beneath the warm sun, a gentle breeze rustled through the trees lining Yeadon Tarn River. In his comfortable wheelchair, IM sat grinning from ear to ear, donning his trusty sun hat. As a service user at Beech House, part of Amethyst CSG, he cherished the support he received daily, and today was no exception.
Accompanied by his dedicated support worker, he was thrilled to be spending a delightful afternoon feeding geese and soaking in the serene atmosphere. As the geese flocked around him, eagerly accepting the treats he offered, IM felt at peace.
Gazing up at the clear blue sky, he could hear the distant hum of airplanes as they took off and landed at the neighbouring Leeds/Bradford airport. The sound reminded him that, just like those planes, his journey at Beech House was taking him to new heights, supported by the people who believed in him.
As the day drew to a close, his heart was full of gratitude for his support worker and the entire Beech House team. Their dedication had enabled him to experience this wonderful day by the river, creating cherished memories that would fuel his happiness for years to come.
